Today is my birthday 🙂 Here are 23 things I’ve learned in my 23 years of life.

  1. People can be nice, but they don’t have to be nice to you.
  2. Lifting weights won’t make you bulky.
  3. People are going to judge you, that’s their business.
  4. Cherish your grandparents, not everyone is lucky enough to know theirs.
  5. When you find true love, you’ll know.
  6. Don’t be afraid of new experiences, you never know what will happen.
  7. It’s okay to outgrow your friends.
  8. Family can be toxic, it’s okay to cut them off for your well being.
  9. Don’t let anyone tell you how to live your life.
  10. Move on when it’s time to move on, don’t stick around just to save face.
  11. Someone is going to love you for you, don’t change for anyone.
  12. You’re going to have disappointments, don’t dwell on them.
  13. You can never have too many shoes and handbags.
  14. You don’t need TV to keep you entertained.
  15. Be your own person.
  16. Do what YOU love, not what your parents want you to do.
  17. Eat well and exercise.
  18. If you wait to have enough money to do something, it’ll never get done.
  19. Get enough sleep, your body will thank you later.
  20. Whatever you were insecure about before, you’ll love later.
  21. Your hair is not always going to behave, but you’re still cute.
  22. Not everyone is your friend, some people are just opportunists.
  23. You’re cute so be confident.
