I know the feeling of not wanting to go to the gym, feeling ashamed of how you look and even afraid of what others will think of you. Some people find comfort in working out at home, but sometimes its not easy especially if you don’t know what to do.

Here’s a breakdown of some of the workouts that I do.

I recently purchased resistance bands for my lower body and I incorporate them into a workout. I love these by the way.


With these resistance bands, I do a workout that I found on SELF. You should try it out. My favorite moves are, the ankle jumping jacks, lateral band walks, standing flute kickbacks, clamshells and donkey kicks. I already have a big booty thanks to genes, but I don’t want it to be sloppy so I do these to help me out.

As for an ab workout, I do the regular crunches, reverse crunches  and planks. I absolutely ABHOR ab work only because I admittedly am lazy, but when my midsection is strong the abs come through gorwl!!

I do about 50 squats and repeat until failure (I can’t do it anymore) and mountain climbers are my favorite total body workout. I lay down my mat and get to work.

Lastly, for my arms I do a series of workouts with the weights and resistance bands I have.

Dumbbell Shoulder press (4×8)

Tricep Dumbbell Kickback (3×12)

Dumbbell Lateral Raise (3×12)

Seated Tricep Press (3×12)

Front Dumbbell Raise (3×12)
